I love Antony Gormley's work and when I heard about this I thought "yes, count me in!". I'm a juggler, entertainer and photographer, and manage to make a living out of fooling around and having a laugh. My plans for what I will do on the plinth will probably change a lot over the next few weeks, and that is a thought process that I'm really excited about. Initially I thought of taking pictures of the view from the plinth and putting them online like we do as The Digital Paparazzi (for further info see www.digitalpaparazzi.co.uk ). Then I thought about juggling, because I know I can do that, but that would need an angle as I'm sure there will be other jugglers. And then I thought about just posing, and I'm still thinking about that. Whatever I do, it will not be what we did on 'Britain's Got Talent' recently because I will be solo and I've already agreed that I won't do anything that may cause offence (see www.whatapalaver.com). I'm looking forward to it a lot.
Update 7/7...
PLINTH-O-RAMA.COM.
I will use my hour to take lots of silly pictures of anyone who wants to be silly, and obviously that includes myself, and probably throw in a few arty-farty shots as well, and then put all the pictures online at www.plinth-o-rama.com. But I've also registered plinthorama.com as well, so the hyphens are optional.
