About me

For my A Level art course one of my projects was to write an essay about a topic that it means a lot to me. I chose to focus on human form sculpture because in my time I have visited many examples of them. Living in the North East and with an enthusiastic family I've seen loads of Gormley's work and noticed that this project was open for participation.

Always up for an adventure and to get involved in Art I thought this would be a really great opportunity!

I am not quite sure what I will do on the plinth but for one thing, I will definitely take my digital camera up with me to record my experience. I make video blogs for youtube on a channel called hazelizabeth that I share with my sister and it will be one of my days to film when I am on the plinth so that should be really great, for memories sake if nothing else.

I am eager to see and take part in something that is so varied and representative of our society.
