I have seen Anthony Gormleys work in the past and enjoy his work so to be able to take part and become a piece of living art - if only for an hour - and to be part of this bigger concept is an amazing opportunity.
I have decided to support Bowel Cancer UK whilst on the plinth. I have been affected by bowel cancer by a close family memnber and awareness of the disease should be raised as much as possible to get people to look out for the symptoms. Bowel Cancer is the third most common cancer in the UK and the second most common cause of death after lung cancer.
I just hope it doesnt rain!
