I am a Head of English and have been teaching for 13 years. I am 34, have 3 children a lovely husband and I'm always busy! I come from Limavady in Northern Ireland and love the London life. I am still toying with what to do and am dreading fellow teaching staff coming down to Trafalgar square to heckle me (don't dare!).
I have been loving how supportive pupils and colleagues have been and am getting very excited. I love monuments and every form of architecture and can't wait to get on the plinth. I am not an entertainer, although pupils may find me entertaining, and as I have never really left school I feel compelled to be a 'school girl'. Poetry is my first love, another form of art and most likely the way I will express myself on the plinth. I will also bring my Jack Petchey award that I received in March of this year as it means such a lot to me.
Thanks to my yr 8 pupils who have also sent me messages of support....you are all wonderful. Bishop Stopford's School rocks x
