About me

I am running the London Marathon in April 2010. I shall be raising money for the Foundation for Study into Infant Death. This is a fantastic charity that has helped my family greatly since the loss of our son, Ellis, to cot death 6 years ago. Standing on the plinth should help to raise awareness of this very worthy cause and hopefully help with the fundraising!

Please donate www.justgiving.com/ellisb

Every penny is much appreciated.

Lots of love Jane Paul & Helen

  • Can't help but keep commenting : I love how the last few folks have been reluctant to leave the plinth. I think art is at it's best when it leaves people feeling that way:they have enjoyed it so much, on so many levels that they would stay if they could. I think that it proof of this piece's ability to resonate with participants & viewers.

    How cool!

  • Allow me to be of help: dichotomy :division into two usually contradictory parts or opinions.

The rose was very sweet! The kindness of strangers!

  • You just mentioned folks had been commenting on your being brave-just as I was listening to you and thinking exactly the same thing to myself. I think by sharing your experience you are providing others with understanding and compassion. In my line of work there is nothing like to solace one gets from another that has "been there" & understands what it is like to be in someone shoes. Keep up the good work!

  • You are doing brilliant well done Louise we are really proud
