I signed up for One & Other just because it sounded like An Interesting Thing To Do, without giving it any thought. Which is just as well, because having thought about it I’m not 100% sold.

Still, the show must go on. This is four lifetimes worth of fame we're talking about, and I suppose that there are far worst ways of spending it - so plinthin' it is then.

I hope that whoever is around will take a minute to look. With any luck, they may even wonder about the function of the plinth and how it influences their perception of whatever/whoever happens to be on it at any given time.
