I have always been fascinated with the work of Antony Gormley, whether it being ' Angel of the North' to 'Field'. Which I have had the priveledge to witness in person.Gormley has always influenced my work through his use of figuration, and the beautiful way in which he seems to interpret the world, through very simplistic fabricatons which is the reason I feel it would be a wonderfully fascinating experience to become part of his art, and maybe a life changing opportunity.

There is also another aspect that as a young historic art student encapsulates my soul, and that is the fact that if I stood upon the pillar for an hour, that would give me the opportunity to become a piece of artwork, that would be renounced within history. This gives me a surge of excitment because for a second I would be part of art history, part of Antony Gormleys art history - a living time capsule.

Over the last couple of weeks I have given much thought into what I could do upon the pillar if I had the chance, many ideas ranged from seating on a deck chair admiring the view, to dressing up in flamboyant, colourful clothes in which I could perform a display to the people below. I am still considering other various ideas, though it should be memorable.
